Sony Pictures Classics has bought U.S. rights to “Still Alice”

 

Variety - Sony Pictures Classics has bought U.S. rights to Julianne Moore’s drama “Still Alice” on the same day as the drama’s premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in the Special Presentations section.

Sony Classics is planning to release “Still Alice” during the upcoming awards season. CAA brokered the deal.

Deadline - The label paid a low-seven figure price, and its plan is to release the film in Oscar season. It has gotten strong notices for Julianne Moore, who stars with Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart, and Kate Bosworth.
